Had an unforgettable day out on our boat tour from Amalfi. Our captain Massimo was brilliant - attentive, fun, and he made the trip very memorable. We only had 8 people on our boat which gave us lots of space, and it felt very private. Beautiful views and great snorkeling spots. It was a good way to see the coast, as well as Positano, without lots of crowds. We booked directly with Positano Boats - top tip is to book directly on their site rather than via Viator etc so they receive the full amount and don't have commission going to a third party. Highly recommend!

We took the 7-hour Amalfi Coast group tour on a fairly large gozzo boat with 12 people. We set off when the sea wasn't great because it was a bit windy. They gave us a wonderful tour with a description, two wonderful stops for swimming and snorkeling (they threw taralli to bring in a tide of fish), and they took us to lunch at La Gavitella restaurant (amazing place for the view and food—JLo even visited) and then stopped in Positano. After lunch, the sea and sky got a bit stormy. We took a buoy and had to negotiate some challenging waves, but skipper Michele and his colleague handled everything with incredible professionalism and experience! We managed to have fun no matter what the situation, taking home an unforgettable excursion! Highly recommend!

The main port of Capri — where all ferries, hydrofoils, and boat tours dock, and where the funicular takes you up to Capri Town. Great location and views! Great service! And the restaurant is very clean! The staff is very friendly! The place is a bit pricey but worth the price, since everything was pomade to perfection! 95% of all the pasta dishes are with seafood, and they all taste delicious! I would recommend!

Let’s try to be rational, fair, and most importantly, sometimes rely on our own feelings. To begin with—yes, I recommend this restaurant. There were three of us. Normally, you need a reservation here, but even though we didn’t have one, and even though we arrived almost at closing time, they still kindly found us a table. Every dish was delicious. Yes, yes, I know—a Michelin Guide restaurant that knows how to cook pasta. Shocking, right? You may ask—why come here? After all, you can get tasty pasta at a nearby place for two or even three times cheaper. So what’s the difference? Here, every dish is a carefully designed creation. A painted composition. Every ingredient and spice complements the dish and creates a swirl of flavors, turning into something new. Something unique. Food: 5/5 The restaurant sits right by the sea, with fresh flowers on each table and a warm, subtle glow of light that allows the sunset to take center stage. Atmosphere: 5/5 The service was flawless—elegant table settings, prompt serving, genuinely attentive staff, and above all, a feeling of effortless comfort. They even let us carefully choose from all the teas available. Overall service: 5/5 Of course, you can find elements of this elsewhere, but rarely brought to such perfection. If you still don’t understand what a Michelin Guide restaurant really is—come here and see for yourself. P.S. We came straight after swimming at the beach, so I left the cushion on my seat wet. Sorry for not mentioning it at the time!

Loved all experience. I took chefs tasting menu and it lasted for 2 hours. Everything was great besides that server’s look when I tipped 10 euro. The total bill was 155$. If you expect for a guest to tip more, you just have to add it to the guest’s notice in menu or somewhere. Since in Italy all tips are not expected and are optional. How I suppose to know how much I had to tip? In the USA there is a certain percentage that a guest has to tip, because server’s salary there is 2-2.50$/hour, so it’s not like here and I’m sure not like at Michelin star restaurant pay. Phenomenal, by the Marina. Found this place on Michelin website. The food was outstanding from the lobster pasta, the calamari was also very good, the octopus, and down to the dessert. Plus, the location is also close to the centre where all the life in Amalfi is. This place is highly recommended. There’s also a good wine list to pair.

A historic café founded in 1845 by Giuseppe Francese, now run by the sixth generation of the family, located in an Art Nouveau building right on Piazza Duomo, facing the grand staircase leading to Amalfi's cathedral. It's the beating heart of Amalfi's café culture — best visited early morning or late afternoon for the liveliest atmosphere and freshest pastries. The house specialty is a lemon delight made with an original recipe from the 1970s, alongside sfogliatelle, babà, and citrus granitas. I

We had a very pleasant evening at Bar Francese. The atmosphere was elegant and enjoyable, and the service was attentive throughout the night. We especially appreciated the wine recommendation from our waiter—it was an excellent choice and paired well with our meal. While the pasta was good, we have had better versions of similar dishes elsewhere in Italy. The bread served with the meal was also a bit below the standard we have come to expect in Italy. That said, the warm service, great wine, and wonderful ambiance made for a lovely experience overall.

I spent my birthday at this place. Lorenzo went above and beyond to find a birthday candle for me and surprise me at midnight with a birthday cake and a candle. All the staff were brilliant incredibly warm and welcoming. They all sang me a birthday song, the food and atmosphere the location 10 out of 10. Would definitely come back here😘🤌🏻❤️

Dinner in Amalfi. We were greeted by the staff and seated immediately. This is a really nice setting as you are directly across from the church in Piazza Duomo. The tables have these nice little rechargeable touch lights. On to the food. Really good Calamari & Shrimp for the appetizer. Lemon Spritz for the drinks. For the Entrees we had Spaghetti alla Carbonara and Spaghetti al Aglioe e Olio We followed dinner with Tiramisu, coffee and tea. We were also given complimentary cookies, which were also tasty. Overall good experience and a better meal.

Visited Bar Francese twice during my stay on the Amalfi Coast. Staff were friendly, in particular Lorenzo and Alfonzo. Lorenzo assisted with accomodating for my friend who required vegan alternatives. Food was lovely and quick to come out. Bonus to have a great view.

Very touristy. Catches you as you enter the square. Food extremely average to poor. One ordered scrambled eggs and bacon and the eggs were super dry. Very little bacon. Other person ordered omlette & half a dry omlette came out. Service not very good. They specifically ask for tips at the end which seems rude. Probably fine for a cute drink or coffee in the square overlooking the cathedral but I wouldn't recommend eating here.

One of Italy's most scenic hikes, running along cliffs above the coastline with Mediterranean views the whole way. Trail typically starts in Bomerano (Agerola) and ends in Nocelle, above Positano. Best done early morning before the heat and crowds hit — wear real hiking shoes, not sandals.

Perth of Gods is a must-visit gem that will leave you in awe.

The stairs are no joke. This is not a hike for kids or anyone with any physical limitations. At parts the stairs can be uneven, rocky, steep without hand rails. However, if you’re in decent shape and want a slight challenge, this is a BEAUTIFUL hike. There is a water station at the top of the climb before you start going across the ridge line. From Praiano to the top, we passed maybe 3 people. The ridge line was more crowded because there are multiple entrances and tour guides take people up in a shuttle, hop off at the ridge line and do a short hike to see the views. Stop in Nocelle at Lemon Point for a lemon granita - so refreshing after a hike. From there it’s all downhill (stairs) to Positano. Also go in the morning, the cliffs provide shade from the sun for most of the climb.

JFDI. What a beautiful walk and such a perfect way of seeing the gorgeous coastline. Praiano up to the monastery was easy, beyond to the trail was interesting, but once we worked out the paint marks on the stones it was obvious!! The main path to Nocelle was nice and flat. You have to do this.

Although the climb up to the garden was a bit strenuous, the effort was worth it for the combination of Giovanna’s knowledgeable explanation of lemon cultivation, the beautiful views of Amalfi and the sea below, and the delicious light lunch on the terrace that included local vegetables, cheeses, wine, and limoncello. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for my whole family.

This experience was a highlight for sure! High up the hillside, with unparalleled views of the coast below and shaded by old lemon trees, Giovanna’s tour takes you into her home and family history while she shares her extensive knowledge of all things lemon and Amalfi. Plus the tour ends with homemade lemon cake, lemonade and limoncello - the best you’ll taste on your trip! It’s worth the climb!

This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Amalfi - Giovanna was so knowledgeable about the history and science behind what their farm does! I always appreciate a fun learning experience, but when you throw in some adorable cats and amazing food and drinks, it really added so much enjoyment to my trip and appreciation for the entire area - definitely a must-do if you’re in the area!!

Casa Orrico is a paradise. We enjoyed the family atmosphere and privacy. The villas are located outside of the center of Anacapri. Our host, Francesco, gave us the best dining recommendations and resources to enjoy the island. We didn't want to be in the center of the city we wanted to be part of the paradise. We cannot wait to return in the future. The rooms open to a view of the world with cloudless skies and the sounds of nature. THANK YOU for making our honeymoon memorable!!

BUYER BEWARE!! Not as advertised! Positives: The view is absolutely stunning. Secluded, peaceful place away from the crowds. The place is family owned and everyone is so nice. They helped with luggage and transportation. They were available for questions and concerns. Negatives: This is not a private villa. This is a bed and breakfast. You have a room next to other guests and a shared terrace space. The rooms are that of a bed and breakfast. The power kept going on and off throughout the day. The air conditioner did not work in our room. Our room was infested with ANTS! Not a few ants, but hundreds crawling in the bed and all over us throughout the night. Suitcase was infested with them. They tried to blame the ants on perfume or food in the room of which we had neither. The reality was that there were already ant traps in the room prior to our arrival. On top of all that, it was near impossible to get a taxi to go anywhere. If you want to go somewhere to disappear and don’t mind a dorm room setting with no privacy, this is for you. Very overpriced!
